Nationwide Wins National Urban League Award

Corporate leadership in economic empowerment recognized on Equal Opportunity Day.

Recently, Nationwide received the National Urban League’s Corporate Leadership Award during the organization’s Equal Opportunity Day festivities, which focus attention on positive efforts to ensure fair and equal treatment for all Americans.

“The Equal Opportunity Day awards honor dedication and commitment to economic empowerment,” said Marc H. Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League (NUL).

Nationwide was recognized for its support in creating IAmEmpowered.com. The site is NUL’s social media platform connecting the Urban League Movement with communities and individuals across the country.
